well we got out for our first hike yesterday and it went VERY well all in all I think we all had a good time!! :)

I have to say that I always have a new favorite picture and this time its the one of Alannah and Cade with Cades itty bitty almost a smile because I snapped the photo to soon look LOL

And to the left you will see that alannah has now learned her middle name as well woot woot...next up...last name (another toughy!) and for obvious reasons will not be photographed for a public blog (sorry!)

We had a good two hours of schooling yesterday I am giving it a good trial run before we actually have to start on the 9th of september..doesn't that seem late?? Any how I am already begging the gods for more hours in the day after only one day!! :) it went better then I expected though especially when I told Emilie that I was going to teach her sister and she was allowed to hang out with us and watch but to be quiet and she was!!! :) Danica was sleeping I don't think I would have much luck in getting that one to be quiet just yet!

I had thought that our school books were on their way but it appears that maybe they are not after all..never mind I have two other shipments I am expecting any how so I still have something to look forward to ;) haha!

I don't know what is up with the early mornings over here I have the baby that gets up at 5 to eat and then sometimes hang out but I have to get Zaks lunch going any how so thats not a biggy and then the two little girls are up at 6 in the morning TOOO early!! I need some adjustment time for ME before we start our day .. besides its been a proven fact that if they actually come downstairs that early they are WWWAAAAAAY to cranky for their own good..so in bed they stay until 6:43 on the dot every day it seems little weirdo's!

Summer Sprinkler Fun

WOW it hardly feels like summer over here half of this summer has just been weird cloudy and cooler have hardly had to use the a/c's which is a bonus but just weird..doesn't stop the girls from enjoying playing in the water though!!!

Wellness checks updates

Well As of last thursday Cade was up to 8lbs 9 oz so he is gaining weight like a champ..not yet to 21 inches so he is just rounding out a bit ;)

Dani is up to 30 lbs now CRIPES she is just 2 lbs shy of Emi!!! She is in her 75th percentiles for height and weight for her age..at this rate with emi being on the shy side of average Dani could be taller then her before long LOL!!!! Wouldn't that be funny emi having to wear dani's hand me downs!! .. well its like I am dressing twins now as they wear practically the same size! Dani did soo well in her appt. she let the doctor do everything to her he needed to with NO help from mommy as she was helping the baby so I am SOOO PROUD of her!!! YAY DANI!

Both kiddo's are healthy and the circ. is healing up just fine and that is the MOST important thing!!!

Cade is now smiling!!! yay his first smile was saturday and he did a bunch more this morning during his floor time..did I mention he gets up at 5 am for this?? *yawn* But its fun and I can't refuse!!!! He also has acne that I am trying to clear up Dani had it a lot worse then Cade does though so thats something!!! :) Hopefully he will only have it a few more days!!!

PS this boy has LOTS Of dimples!! LOL

Bye Bye Binkie (again)

Dani has been with out her Binky for 4 whole days now..apparently the trick was for daddy to take it and not give it back..she has not asked for it since!! YAY!!!! She does grab the babies binkies and help him with those though NOT putting them in her mouth so goodgirl!!!!

Alannah wrote her name from beginning to end all by herself last night for the first time...its a long name haha :) So we are very proud of her!!!

Little man

Well Cade had his Circ. and I have to say he is such a little soldier he never cried after I got him out of his carseat last night til now, I am just amazed by how tough he is and how great a baby he is. At this point I don't know why I was so afraid of having a boy because he is such a joy!!

The girls are still doing very well with him and now that daddy is working nights we are all going through a bit of adjustments trying to get used to that so the little ones are acting up more then normal..well its a lot to get used to in two weeks a new brother and now daddy changing his schedule, makes for a very busy household and well we are getting by.

Thursday we go back to the doctor for well child checks on Cade and Dani, and Cade is going to have his heel poked for the PKU for the last time poor guy :( and Dani I don't even remember if she gets any shots or not but I do know she is only 3 lbs lighter then emi which is funny lol.

Okay that is the update on the homefront!!!

the dreaded circ. has been delayed until monday evening, joy two appts in one week!!! lol

Sick of the pictures yet?? (haha)

Well it looks like our little man might have blue eyes after all..really to me it doesn't matter and time will tell, Today he has his grand circumsicion I am really not looking forward to that and I hope really hope it does not hurt him to bad for too long!!! Hopefully Zak will have friday off this week as it was looking like a maybe he will last night so we will see!! The girls are all doing very well, and I am having a lot of fun playing with them, of course next week I am going to try and get back to work to some degree. See how that works out!! At least none of the younger ones are acting like they don't like me any more so I am VERY happy about that!! It was a rough week last week when they were both only for daddy OUCH!!! :( but hey alls well ends well right? :)

More Pictures!!

Tomorrow is a big day for our little man he is going to have his circumcision done :( I am not looking forward to that as I would never want to inflict pain..but its a decision we have made so one that must be done. So hopefully in a few days he will be feeling better and won't have any memories of what happend..thank god they do numb before they actually do the deed!!! All of these issues you have to worry about when you have a boy I swear!! All of the girls have really accepted their little brother now and are doing everything that they can to help..sure they still fight..and sometimes in the most awkward of times like when I am feeding the baby, but we are making it through our first week with out daddy just fine thankfully!! Cade is soo lucky to be able to hang out with so many girls all day (haha!)

I am anxiously awaiting Alannah's school materials I really can't wait to do this with her I think its going to be a lot of fun and a great experience so that will be great!!

All in all life is settling in as "normal" as it can be for now :)
