Happy New Years..and A Post for my mother...

Last night we got a very special package in the mail, because the weather has been so bad over here the last month everything has been held up in the mail department, so the kiddo's and us got a little added christmas and there is nothing wrong with that! My mother who can still read my mind and apparently the minds of her grandchildren (how spooky is that?!) Gave them just what they wanted/needed in a nice wonderful surprise, and made all of our nights!! The piggy banks were huge hits and they spent the rest of the night filling them up with some loose change I keep in a baggy in our kitchen drawer I had almost five dollars of change for them to split and I am sure there is more around but WOW does that stuff add up, I am only happy that now we have someplace to put all that extra change and Alannah's tooth fairy money too when she gets it! :) They are all lined up on the counter in the kitche with their names on them (thanks again mom) Zak was amazed with that LOL and every day that they are good they get to put a penny in the jar, (this only works while they are young enough not to really care about money to much) LOL and it gives them extra motivation I hope :) Any how I will now follow up with some pictures as I had promised on the phone last night. Thanks again you guys are the greatest!! :) and please forgive Dani she decided she wanted to be a warrior and not wear a shirt last night LOL

Well Happy new years!! :) haha I know its a bit early but *yawn* With the windstorm and Dani crawling into our bed in the middle of the night last night I got very little sleep so I will be hard pressed to actually stay up this year....ahh maybe some holiday cheer will help me along (haha)

Silly Baby Boy

I am back again

Well its been a long time since I have visited my blog here, haha so many things have changed and the kids have all gotten older..and bigger..Cade can even sit on his own for short periods on his own now and is still as always a joy to have around .. when the ugly teeth are not causing him pain that is haha!

We had a great Christmas it was nice to have Alannah and Zak home for so long with the snow storms and all they were home for an extra three days!! Alannah is still on break until next week and boy am I going to miss her when she goes back not to mention the days full of running here and there start back up again, so fun fun! Ahh I will enjoy my last few days of vacations with her until then though :)

Cades Video Debut ;) This was just taken today, don't mind the little urchen in the background (Dani) yelling mom mom mom..she does this even when I am looking right at her she DOES get attention although in the video background it would appear that she is ignored LOL

The Candy Hangover

Well..no not really but its after Halloween right so I had to say something i don't let my kids eat that much candy, although you wouldn't know it with as many teeh are falling out of Alannah's head!! Our big toothless count is now up to three..I hope she slows down she won't have any teeth to eat turkey dinner come Thanksgiving at this rate!! Things here have been VERY busy as of late as I am working more and with swimming and always running kids somewhere..well you can see where I just have no time for much else these days, pretty boring, the kids are doing good though so that is nice.

Halloween is nearly here!

WOW time flies!!! The weekly updates are as follows :

Alannah still has to lose that tooth..its all crooked and gross looking..she refuses however to allow me to put a leash on it and take it for a walk ;) oh well all in good time!!! She is loving school still and yesterday went and saw a play called the hungry hungry catapillar and LOVED it!! She also is still in swimming and although its looking like she is going to repeat this class again I can see some small improvements that she is doing getting more and more comfy in the water but danged if she will stick her face full on in the water!!! She is getting to know more and more of her friends names, and her 'boyfriend' that she has is Caleb...no its nothing like real boyfriend girlfriend stuff but he did hold the door open for her one day and that points to a future good boy I think if he is that thoughtful already! :) any how they play together on occasion at recess and Alannah really likes him. Alannah is going to be Tinker Bell for halloween this is also her latest addiction..tinker bell everything! LMAO

Emilie .. well nothing much is new on the Emilie front she is becoming more and more of a help around the house though and is getting more bonded to me..lately her thing is worried that I am going to leave her for some reason..just some seperation axiety I suppose touching, but a bit annoying at the same time when you go to put her to bed at night and it does not work so well because of that! Emilie is going to be a lion for halloween yay her its a costume we already have and she will be fine wiht a little painted nose and whiskers..low fuss just like her..

Danica .. well the terrible two's rage on..really if they stopped at one and skipped to three that would be handle-able!!! This year for halloween she absolutely refuses to have a costume soo she will be going as a terrible two year old..ohh yes thats fun! LOL She does have her cute moments though as they maybe far and few between!! She has just got her hair cut though so she looks a bit more like a little girl and less like a rag-a-muffin!

Cade .. Well he is getting bigger and bigger every day we had to take him to the doctor last week for an eye infection that is all cleared up now and he is back to all smiles and sunshine and weighing in at a whopping 15 lbs and boy can you tell it when you go to hold him or pick him up, but he is happy so that is all that matters..even if it means that mommy and daddy are going to be forced to spring for a bigger carseat for him sooner then expected because of him growing out of his infant one LOL His new trick is reaching and playing with a few toys now, he does not care to roll over or anything he is content on his back and behing held sitting up or using his bumbo to sit in is a great past time for him to!

Everyone else here (me and Zak) are getting on just fine just really busy with life and the kids they keep us out of trouble so thats a good thing I suppose!

Its been a long time since my last blog, so sorry about that been a lot of changes on the home front..I guess I will give a general rundown child by child :)


Alannah - Has lost her first tooth Top tooth and soon to follow will be losing a bottom tooth as well... :) And she is also going to public school now much to the reliefe of her daddy and I, I was getting way to stressed out trying to keep up with everything/everyone and now I am starting to feel better and she is LOVING school so thats a bonus as well as she has already made a new friend to!! OH and having a little boy holding the door open for her in the morning...yikes it starts young! haha!! Alannah is in swimming and Soccer, she is taking Soccer with Emilie and they are both doing very well on it and Alannah is able to keep the ball away from the coach pretty well...will be time soon to put her on a team!!! She loves swimming but has yet to put her face full on in the water which she needs to do to advance in that..but in time she will I know it!


Emilie - Emilie is Loving Soccer it takes awhile for her to warm up to it but after she does she is great and mommy does not have to stand on the field with her so thats awesome to I get to just sit back and watch!! She is growing up very fast and being a good girl with her big sister at school she steps in and takes the role in helping out around the house!! She is also loving to dance and will probably be taking dance classes in the future!!

Danica - aaahhhh the terrible two's have hit full force and she does not take guff from anyone and has no problem telling people off :( She does have sweet moments but man are we having to work on her attitude problem she has such a thirst for learning and knowing what is what and is learning her colors and counting.

Cade - ahh our sweet little boy is 3 months old today!! He is the best most perfect little baby in the whole world he is so quite and sweet and always full of smiles!!! He is now all into sitting up with help and started that way earlier then his sisters did he is a strong little man!!! He got really upset one day with daddy holding him and he said mom in his crying (totally accidental) but he got what he wanted..awwww Total mommies boy so far!! but I'm glad ;) he is our last so I am enjoying every minute of it!!! He has grown out of all his 0-3 month clothes and they have all been donated so he is onto bigger and better things now and enjoying being doted on by his big sisters so much!!!

This weekend we are going to have the inlaws over for a few nights and they are going to bil's vows renewal ceremony I will be staying behind to do the soccer thing (its their last game and they get little prizes for doing good) and hanging with the kiddo's that day I also have to do some back to school shopping for Alannah as she is growing out of her britches faster then I can buy them for winter..good thing she has two little sisters that can use the clothes later on though so I am not too upset!!

I am on the weight loss band wagon big time, after hitting the heaviest weight I have ever been at when NOT pregnant well lets just say thats enough of that (no not saying how much I weigh!) Just i have more then enough to lose! :)

Zak had his surgery and is recovering very well, (no more babies) but we are happy with the ones we have and they are keeping us plently busy enough! :)

Okay I think that is all for now I will try to come back tomorrow when my laptop is charged and post some pictures if I get the chance!! I seem to have less time now on the computer with Alannah gone..how did that happen? LOL

Today would have been the first day of school..had our books arrived..we are still waiting on them *sigh*

Cade had his appointment today, he is now weighing in at 12lbs 10 oz! 23 inches long..and he is the first kid of mine that actually smiled at the doctor while being examined! he is truly our little munchkin happy pants! Of course now I am fully expecting him to be cranky for the rest of the day!

Ahh sweet friday mornings..

ever feel to tired to type?? I feel that way today for some reason yikes!!! Well I thought I would make an update of sorts to keep everyone up to check on us and our going's on!!

NOPE!! But betcha your eyes got wide for a moment right?? HAHA well that was fun.

Now for the serious stuff..


This past week we had a serious shooting in our county..not far from our home and there was 6 people shot and killed very sad and very needless I am reporting this because one of Zaks co-workers was directly affected by this and lost her mother and her father was injured and was the one that made the call to 911 its all very sad and well..my thoughts go out to everyone involved in this difficult time in our community, also this past month a teenager shot someone thinking they were a bear..yet another tragedy not a good time for our little county!!

Emilie made her first bead necklace last night, the girls and I have decided that they shall make necklaces and sell them and their proceeds will go to animal shelters and different causes that we choose to donate to, not enough children learn how to give these days and this is a value that I want to instill into mine. Of course when Cade gets older we will have to find something more manly for him rather then necklaces and bracelets haha!! But Emilie REALLY enjoys it and let me show her how .. actually teach her which made me happy SOO happy!! GOOO Emilie!! Of course then little sister Danica comes up and ruins her necklace she worked so hard on..so she got put in time out and I helped Emilie string her necklace back together.

yes Danica is now THAT kid (the one you want to hide in the closet til they get over this stage in their life!) but we are working through and she still does have some incredibly sweet moments so we won't be hiding her yet..she just has to learn.

Alannah is doing very well in school, we have yet to get her actual books and things but we are doing some online course work for her school even though she does not officially start until next week and she has aced all of her tests (math tests) she does not get that from me..although their idea of math in kindergarten is weird..but thats another topic haha

Cade is growing like a weed all smiles and dimples and wiggly all over!! He has his first shots on monday BOOHOOO I hate that :( his new thing is to make us put the bottle to his mouth and then just smile at us as if to say "haha fooled you!"

I am working out every day trying to get myself back in order..whatever that is I forgot its been so long! Okay so thats in thats the update from here in Mount Vernon..tune in next week for another exciting installment to our life and times! (haha)

Stuff n Things

Well its been awhile as we have ran out of time to do a lot of thing on the internet..when I mean we I mean me and the kids have taken over my computer LOL (well alannah has) any how while I have a few moments I thought I would post some pictures and well nothing much is new with us, Cade is growing like a weed and as cute as any baby has the right to be, and it seems will have blue eyes after all..but thats okay, he also has the dimples to MAN all those dimples!! We are gearing up for the school year now and although for now we are working out of workbooks (alannah just learned how to read some colors) we are anxiously awaiting her school materials!! School officially starts on the 9th for us yay!!

Sorry have not posted for a long time will try and get going again on it as things will return do a dull roar now I hope!
