Spring break is upon us
And with that lots of playdates and fun...well as much as we can have when its all rainy outside lol. It has been busy here with 3 playdates in the last week and today we have Alannahs parent teacher conference. She will be having speech therapy for the next year though she ha gotten evaluated for that and starts that in April for one year and then we re-evaluate and go from there.

The Bee
Alannah had her first run in with a bee thanks to me :( we were out playing ball in front of our house and it came buzzing at me well I swatted it....and made contact and apparently flicked it right into her shirt...yes inside her shirt omg she started screaming...of course wouldn't you if your mom had sent a bee right down your shirt? Well of course this led me having to as carefully and as fast as I could to get her shirt off of her wow well it all turned out ok and no stings or anything so we all got very lucky! What a fluke weird incident! am very proud of her though because she did handle it very well all in all and no nightmares from it so that is a good thing!
Teeth!
Well looks like Cade has his two upper,teeth coming in now bye bye gummy smiles lol I just wish that he would want to try foods he still does not want to have anything to do with them!
Alannah is having her two top teth growing back in as well I cant wait to see her back with her big teeth now so cute! she got her hair cut batck into that cute short wedge like cut that I like so much on her! Emi loves her short hair soo much she says that she never wants to grow it out! I cant believe that she turns four next month not that far away now!! We went to the movies for the first time yesterday just me and the girls and all in all they did super well! so hard for them to stay sitting for so long! Well I am reduced to blogging from my cell phone for now the busy season has picked up and have not even seen my computer for a few days now but that is ok I have been having really soo much fun with the kids I haven't really missed it! Besides I can do email and on here too which also helps!

HEY I am back! :)
I know I know all this talk of blogging more and look what I did ..... lol any how here are some updates and pictures!
News item number one..we had our first earthquake here last friday yes we felt it and well it was probably the weirdest sensation in the world..picture your house on the water..not the ocean just the lake with little waves..I guess thats the best way I could describe it, we are fine, the house is fine and there was no major damage where the quake occured either so all in all it could have been a whole lot worse!!
Alannnah update : Don't know if I updated before that she had a reading assessment and did so well she only missed one word her teacher and we were so excited!! Well she has gotten numerous bookmarks now for good behaviour and has just had a speech assessment and is going to have some therapy to help her say her s's and few other sounds correctly, it is not affecting her school work however and she is just as bright as can be! Every morning she likes to get up and show daddy and me how tall she is compared to us haha well I wish she would really stop that! ;) Also she has lost her second top tooth..okay well this is actually tooth number 2 that emilie has kicked out for her and the 1st one that actually got swallowed..good thing the tooth fairy counts teeth every night just to be on the safe side so she doesn't miss anyone! :)
Emilie update : Emilie is continueing to grow into a great little lady she is getting to be more helpful with less temper tantrums and is just being such a joy to be around especially with all the random things that can come out of her mouth..just last week she told me she needed to go to the armpit doctor because her armpit hurt..yeah well thats just a sampling of things that come out of her mouth! She is reallly looking forward to school next year and I am excited for her I think she will do great after the initial shock of..oh wait mommy is not staying? wears off! :)
Danica update : ahhhh Danica..she is still the trying two year old but she has moments of sweetness that ALMOST makes you forget that she thinks she should be boss of the household and bully of her sisters, this child I am afraid is going to be soo difficult when it comes to school I am afraid she is going to bully the biggest of kids *sigh*
Cade update : Well our little pudge- mister..or Moose as I call him is doing great and is now holding out his arms for mommy to pick him up he is sitting on his own other then the moment here and there where he tips over and loves to play with toys and his sisters! He had his foot appt. yesterday and everything checked out just perfect as I was hoping it would and feel so lucky that it did! We are ever so proud of him and just enjoying him as he is.
Zak is still working hard at work and we expect will be putting in a lot of over time in the coming weeks so any time we can snatch together as a family we try to enjoy as much as we can!
I am still working here and there and trying to do more and more so it helps out with the many bills that we have so we can get everything paid off and be free and clear the state of the economy has scared us all straight if that makes sense! AND I am finding some new exciting recipes for us to eat that are good and healthy and well I found out I LOVE to cook who knew it?? Of course I just need to find the right cook book for us because scouring the internet gets old and takes to much time! haha!! :) I am also incorporating exercise into my life again been lazy long enough!! up to three days a week an hour a day shooting for 5 days eventually but we need to clean out some things in the garage donating and all that.
We redecorated our house sooo in the pictures of the kids excuse the mess it was in transition for awhile and even now we are still trying to get the kinks worked out, for those of you that have been in our house before next time you visit our living room is COMPLETELY different and I just LOVE it! :)
Alrighty I am onto the pictures now hope everyone is well and sorry its been so long but now that things are going to be getting back to normal around here I hope to post more often and actually put down more of the things the kids say : )

Stuff and Things
Well we had Cades dr's appt. last week and he is HEALTHY weighing at a whopping 20 lbs..unbelievable really as he is only 6 mo. old and I do believe that the girls were at least a year old before getting that big haha .. any how the only bad spot on the appt. was the fact that he has to go see a specialist early next month because his feet are a bit turned in, and flat, not really anything SERIOUS just something he might end up wearing a cast for a short bit if the specialist thinks its something that would correct it, could be that he needs nothing and we keep doing the exercises the doctor gave me for him and it corrects on its own, the girls had the same problem all be it it was a lot less then his is and corrected on its own no problem, so we are hoping that his new doctor will say that his will correct on its own to, maybe just take a little longer. Regardless the main important thing is that he is extremely happy, and healthy and we could not ask for anything else!
The girls are doing very well, and are learning to act less like a circus or zoo act slowly every day and act more like sweet little ladies and be more helpful around the house. Its funny to hear what sayings Alannah picks up at school and brings home with her (FOR NOW) when she gets older I am sure the sayings will be less cute and more of a grating on the nerves of the parent thing lol! I have no pictures this time :( I will have to take some today and post them soon though its a rough time of year we don't get to go out much and when we do of course I only have my cell phone cam. which is not the BEST to take pictures with haha.
Zak has started his work in a new office now in Burlington and that seems to be going okay although it sounds like we maybe losing him for a long time to over time hours and not seeing him much with all the work that is shooting his way. Which means I have to work less then I already do to compensate that with the kiddo's because they really miss daddy when he works so much. (rightfully so!) Besides the fact we are just very blessed and feel that way every day that he just has a job so we will roll with the any punches that entails for now.

Happy New Years!!
Well we did it we lasted until midnight and then I went to bed LOL Even Cade was up for the midnight fireworks, the girls we put in bed at 10 except for Dani she was in bed at 8, no wonder with staying up all night the night before!! :) Today I am going to be making turkey breast and potato's in the slow cooker, can you say YUMMMMY??? :) Well here is to a year of blogging more while spending LESS time on the computer.....normally it takes me a few hours to write these blogs on my computer as the kids pull me away so much but I will try to cut it down so I can do it more often! :)
